Microwave Chocolate Cake
A very quick and easy recipe for microwave chocolate cake. Apologies for the photo but I think you get the general idea! INGREDIENTS 4 tbsp self-raising flour 2 tbsp caster sugar 2 tbsp cocoa powder 1 egg 3 tbsp milk 3 tbsp oil 1 tbsp milk chocolate chips (optional) METHOD Add all the dry ingredients to a large mug and mix well. Add the egg, milk and oil and mix really thoroughly until smooth. Put in the microwave on full power for 3 minutes until the mixture has risen and feels firm to the touch. Run a knife around the inside edge of the mug and gently tip cake out. Many thanks to my sister Sarah for making this microwave chocolate cake for me as I don't have a microwave. Also thank you to my Mum for providing the kitchen and the ingredients!
