Ice Cream Clowns
This recipe for ice cream clowns came from the Sainsbury website, I thought they were really cute and ideal for a kid's party!To make 12 you will need to gather together the following ; INGREDIENTS 2 litres vanilla easy scoop ice cream 60 smarties 12 liquorice pieces 12 jelly beans 2 tablespoons chocolate sugar strands 2 tablespoons butter icing 12 ice cream cones 12 chocolate biscuits METHOD Chill a baking sheet in the freezer for 10 minutes. Using a large ice cream scoop, make 12 ice cream balls. Arrange on a baking sheet and return to the freezer for 1 hour. Working quickly, press on smarties for eyes & liquorice pieces for nose & mouth. Return to freezer for 3 hours. Spread icing around the top of each ice cream cone & dip in chocolate strands. Put 3 dots of icing on each cone & stick a smartie on each one. Arrange the biscuits on a serving dish & place an ice cream ball on each. Top with ice cream cone 'clown's hat' & serve immediately. Enjoy your ice cream clowns!
