To make this delightfully simple chocolate croissant recipe you will need to gather together the following ;
INGREDIENTS
A pack of ready made croissants, enough for the amount of people you are serving
A bar of milk chocolate
Fairly ripe bananas
Butter if preferred
METHOD
Preheat the oven to 230C, 450F, Gas 8.
Cut the croissants in half horizontally.
Butter them if required (i didn't use butter, they were still delicious)
Thinly slice the bananas and lay on the croissant bases.
Break the chocolate into squares and place 3 or 4 squares on top of the banana slices of each croissant.
Place the croissant tops on the top of the croissants and put them on a baking tray.
Bake in the centre of the preheated oven for just 2-3 minutes, long enough for the chocolate to soften and the croissant to warm through.
Enjoy immediately!
An ideal recipe for the kids, just be aware of using knives and the oven if you have little ones.
