Adult supervision is required to make this chocolate popcorn.
INGREDIENTS
75g/3oz popcorn kernels
300g/12oz plain chocolate
1tbsp oil
METHOD
Place the oil into a large strong saucepan with a lid.
Heat the oil until very hot.
Add the popcorn kernels and cover very quickly.
Cook until the popping sound has ceased and all the corn has popped.
Remove pan from the heat.
Melt the chocolate in a large heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water.
Pour the popcorn onto the chocolate and stir until the popcorn is well covered.
Spread onto a tray lined with greaseproof paper and allow to set.
Serve.
This makes a great TV snack!
Please be aware that popcorn can be a choking hazard to small children.
