Chocolate cornflake crunch is a very simple recipe to make, ideal for children, they will just need some supervision with the melting. To make some you will need ;
INGREDIENTS
8oz/200g plain or milk chocolate
4 tbsp golden syrup
2oz/50g butter or baking marg
100g/4oz crunchy nut cornflakes
METHOD
Grease an 8" round shallow baking tin.
In a large heavy saucepan melt the butter, chocolate and syrup together until smooth.
Add the cornflakes and stir carefully until they are well covered, add a few more if the mixture seems too wet.
Pour into the prepared tin and level off.
Place in the fridge for 2 hours until set hard.
Turn upside down and ease out onto a board.
Cut with a sharp knife into segments.
