This chocolate brioche recipe is so simple to make but really tasty for breakfast or a snack. Children can easily make these but will need supervision if using an electric grill or frying pan. To make them you will need to gather together the following ;
INGREDIENTS
A brioche loaf, ready sliced or slice enough for 2 slices per person
A jar of chocolate spread or Nutella spread
A little butter
A little sugar
METHOD
These brioche sandwiches can be cooked in a sandwich toaster or electric health grill or in a frying pan, you could even cook them in a standard toaster if you have any of those toaster bags that are readily available.
Put your heating appliance on ready.
Slice the brioche loaf.
Using 2 slices per sandwich spread the chocolate spread fairly thickly on one side.
Sandwich the 2 slices together and butter the outsides of the sandwich.
Sprinkle a little sugar onto the buttered sides.
Place in the hot grill/frying pan for a few minutes until golden brown turning as needed.
Cut and serve.
Be aware that the chocolate filling may be very hot!
